Preliminary contract for real estate sale

A preliminary contract for a real estate sale is an official document assuring a future sales agreement: a preliminary agreement aimed at the main sale planned for a future date, which gains official status through the notary public. After the parties execute this contract at a notary public, one or both parties may have a deed restriction annotated, and the subject of the contract is authenticated by the title deed officer. The preliminary contract sets out responsibilities for both the seller and the buyer. Termination of a preliminary sale contract must also be made at a notary public.

What you need, and what we do

  • Executed at a notary public by seller and buyer (or their attorneys-in-fact).
  • Can be annotated on the title deed at the Land Registry, which protects the buyer against a sale to a third party.
  • A sworn interpreter attends for the foreign party; the passport translation is required.
  • Termination is also done at a notary public.
  • Payment terms, deadline for the final sale and penalty clauses are written into the contract; we translate the draft before the appointment so you sign with full knowledge.
  • The notarized contract is shipped to you anywhere in the world by affordable international courier.

Bureaucratic procedures in Turkey and at foreign missions change from time to time. Before you act, we recommend confirming the current requirements with the institution you are applying to. We are glad to check with you which documents need a notarized translation.

Tell us what you need done. We prepare the documents, stand beside you at the notary, and ship the finished paperwork anywhere in the world.
